Another great farewell to the Missionaries who have been serving the Mission of Jesus Christ for the past few years of their lives. They walked with Him, and brought many back unto the Father through Him. Now they are home, making family lives of their own… in His glory. I love the Father, I love the Son, I love the Holy Ghost… and I love the Missionaries!
Working through the keys held by our fantastic Missionary President Jeff and Sister Bonnie Clark, the title says it all…. another day that more Missionaries complete their Mission, giving amazing testimonies unto Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. Fantastic and Beautiful. Thank you Missionaries!

Each year we get the pleasure of having the Missionary’s of our area over for Christmas day! This day was most wonderful as we played games, had a fantastic meal, and even watched the Disney film Frozen! From the standpoint of a Father, I will tell the parents of these fine young Missionaries that they are truly amazing! In the below photos and the 25 minute video, you will hear 14 of the 22 Missionaries we saw that day tell their amazing Christmas Testimonies, and see the fun they had this great day… celebrating the anniversary of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! In the month before this encounter I write about now, I had been finding myself getting deeply involved in a few of my friends lives who were in great need during that time, and even still. While being involved with those people I love (let alone anyone) I will never consider them a distraction from Him, but in fact, testimony that we are His Children. That stated, while being involved a few individuals, I found I was allowing myself to neglect my duties to others, and even my commitment to the Church and Temple. When I left for the mission I expected a whole different environment. I had expectations of baptizing thousands. When I arrived the average baptisms was 1.2 per missionary for their entire mission. That didn’t detour me I was determined to make a difference. It wasn’t easy as I’m sure it isn’t for the Missionaries wherever they serve today.

We are blessed! For the third year in a row, since my own Baptism, we are pleased to host the Missionaries and extended family for Thanksgiving! Over the hours of the day, as the fantastic cooking Turkey brewed that yummy Thanksgiving meal smell throughout the house, many Missionaries and family friends passed through our home to wish us all a Happy Thanksgiving. After dinner we finished the evening in song, and the great film 17 Miracles! Every so often we have the great pleasure of hosting the Zone Missionaries for their Prep Day in the California Fresno Mission! This is such a day between their getting their needs fulfilled (Laundry and Groceries), and getting back to the Mission later that evening. This day we were allowed to show them the LDS film Ephraim’s Rescue of which they thoroughly enjoyed while sharing several pizza’s we provided for their time with us. We do this often to give them a taste of home…as these young adults have come out to work the Mission of Jesus Christ for a few years, leaving all their comforts at home, wherever that may be in the world. There are several countries and continents represented by these amazing Missionaries participating this day. We are blessed to have them with us!
The Missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are amazing! They leave their families, and all comforts of their lives to immerse themselves in the Mission of Jesus Christ! That mission is to bring everyone back to Heavenly Father through his son, our Savior Jesus Christ.
